OpenAI has announced that all images generated using the DALL·E 3 model will now include an OpenAI DALL·E watermark, both in metadata and as a visible CR symbol Mobile users will receive these watermarks no later than February 12. The watermark will include an invisible component in the metadata and a visible CR symbol in the top left corner of each image.
OpenAI acknowledged that watermarks in metadata are not entirely reliable, but they help build trust in digital information by clearly marking AI-generated content.
