Meta introduces tagging of AI-generated content on Facebook, Instagram and Threads. The company is working with partners to create technical standards for identification of AI content, including video and audio.
AI-generated images will be tagged to let users know they are AI-generated content. This move by Meta increases transparency and allows users to better discern when content is digitally edited or created.
