Instagram has introduced a number of new features that allow users to more effectively use the Meta AI capabilities directly within the app. Meta AI now offers voice interactions on Instagram, which means users can type less and talk more if they prefer verbal communication. In addition, they will be able to choose from multiple voices, including those of well-known celebrities like Awkwafina, Dame Judi Dench, and John Cena.
Meta AI also brings the ability to edit photofiles – users can edit any image, ask to add, remove or change an object in the photo. Meta AI can also answer questions about photos, which can be useful when identifying objects or getting recipes for dishes. New for Stories is the generation of interesting backgrounds, which will add creativity when sharing photos.
The last major update is translation for Reels, where Meta AI will automatically translate audio and sync lip movements, making content accessible toa wider audience regardless of language.
